North Macedonia's side of Lake Ohrid was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979, with the site being extended to also include the cultural and historic area of Ohrid in 1980. It is one of Europe's deepest and oldest lakes, with a unique aquatic ecosystem of worldwide importance, with more than 200 endemic species.

We are located on the right side of the beach, next to villa Marko.
There is free parking here, but it can fill up fast on weekends and in the afternoon. Please, arrive early to find parking.
We only cancel tours due to unsafe conditions. Lightning, and wind. We do not cancel due to rain.
We will often cancel tours only 1-hour in advance due to our frequently changing weather.
We ask that customers make reservations so we can be prepared for your arrival. We are often busy and recommend making reservations in advance when possible.
Any child under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Anyone under the age of 18 must have a liability waiver signed by an adult.
Safety is our top priority and we are always esecially cautious and conservative when it comes to sending young children onto the lake.
All of our tours begin next to villa Marko, right side of the beach. Please arrive 10 minutes before your tour is scheduled to begin. Give yourself extra time if you need to park, although on most days it is not difficult to find a space.
-Our pace depends on the group, but we generally take our time. We almost always have plenty of time to get where we're going, so there's no need to rush. We'll keep things moving, but we won't leave anyone behind.
- We prefer fairly small groups, so we usually have between 3 and 10 people on a trip
- We encourage you to offer a gratuity to your guide if you are satisfied with your experience. Tips are never expected, but always appreciated. A common tip on our day tours is 5-10€ per person. Tips can be given directly to the guide.
